Truth Technologies, Inc. Releases Sentinel™ Version 5.5
VIENNA, VA - December 12, 2009
Truth Technologies, Inc. (TTI), the leading provider of money laundering and fraud detection systems for financial industry and government applications, today released version 5.4 of the Sentinel product. New features and changes include:
Summary of Sentinel 5.5 Changes
Ability to run batch processes online - Users can upload delimited text files using the Sentinel web application. This eliminates the need to have to run the command line file conversion and batch submission commands. This new feature only works if your file format meets one of two "default" file formats, for all other formats you will need to continue to use the existing process. The existing batch conversion and submission process will continue to be supported and improved as well. See the Help - Batch Processing page for additional information.
Improved Customer Monitoring Process - Regardless of the mechanism used for customer monitoring, periodic batch submission or the automated weekly CCM process, individual profiles matches are now marked as new, updated or duplicate. Previously the entire customer data set was marked as new data. This will significantly reduce the number of matching profiles that appear as part of the monitoring process. Additionally matches will now be marked and color coded in the detail screen to indicate what type of match they are:
Red - High or Medium Risk: a new match that has never been seen before
Blue - High Risk New Data or Medium Risk New Data: an existing match that has been updated information provided by the World-Check research team
Grey - High Risk Duplicate Data or Medium Risk Duplicate Data: an existing match that has not changed since the last time this customer was screened. These can be ignored.
Admin users can now add and edit user access levels - Users that have administrative privileges can assign their users to groups to limit the data access level. A user assigned to a group can only see data entered by other users in that group. Additional administrative users can assign single user access level, meaning a user can only see data they themselves enter.
User report summarizes user structure and searches by user - A report "User Report" lists the number of searches run by each user and what group that user belongs to.

- Company names can now be up to 300 characters long

- The back to search results link now works for the Search Results (Full), Batch Summary - Details Page and Matching Names Bulk Update (World-Check) reports

- The view restrictions for the Search Results (Summary) are now all data, or all group data which ever is more restrictive
